Resident English town Ashford 25-year-old Kelly Timson suffers a rare disorder, which leads to the complete consternation because of strong emotions. She fears that the disease is passed on to her infant son, RIA "Novosti" with reference to the British newspaper Daily Mail.
Young woman can not go to comedy shows, or even in the pub with friends. The fact that every time she laughs, she falls in a daze. Timson suffers from a rare neurological disorder, cataplexy. Her body completely fails as a result of strong emotions: happiness, surprise or anger. This person does not lose consciousness. A young mother of two children also suffer from narcolepsy, because of which it can suddenly fall asleep, no matter what it is at this moment engaged.
Her youngest son Ronnie had a similar attack in the supermarket. Now the family is awaiting the results of tests to find out whether the boy had inherited both maternal disease.
Narcolepsy symptoms appeared Kelly was 16. "It could be in the middle of dinner, or I could go to sleep in the bathroom," – said the woman. One day while working at a kiosk selling donuts she fell for whipping milk foam for cappuccino. And at the age of 19, when Kelly gave birth to her first son, she showed signs of catalepsy, when she took the baby in his arms. "It cost me just to look at it and think about how much I love him, my hands became weak. And I was seriously worried that I hurt her son," – said Kelly.
Often a woman discovers that lies on the floor, with injuries received in a fall. Once she gasped, falling face down on the bed. Kelly experienced 20 episodes of cataplexy in the day and have to ask relatives to be around all the time.
Addition, poor woman has problems with short term memory: she often forgets what she was doing before. Kelly needs constant supervision and can not drive a car or even on your own to take a bath.
